72 Great Gifts

I just checked out the current state of the gifts on the Product Creation Giveaway.  It is pretty exciting!

I had to delete a couple of gifts because they had nothing to do with product creation and one was a duplicate of someone else’s gift.

Let’s keep the momentum by adding your gift.  I know that people love to see a lot of gifts inside the member’s area, and we want to have as many of them as possible.

Make sure your paypal email address is valid, because you could be getting commissions when people are buying the products that I have up on the billboards!  I know one person already made a $27 commission from the sale of one 12 Pack of Products.

I had to change a lot of blank paypal email addresses and none@none.com addresses, because people would not be able to purchase with those addresses…

The launch is set for April 27th through May 15th!  Let’s get the word out!

Finally, I want to talk about the PCG Fairness Doctrine:
-Everyone should promote PCG during the course of the event.
-Everyone should have at least one referral by the 4th day of the event: gifts will be removed for those who don’t have one referral after 4th day.
-Everyone should have 10 referrals by the 8th day - gift removal for those who fail to get 10 referrals.
-Everyone should have 20 referrals by the 14th day - gift removal for those who fail to get 20 referrals.

Why have a fairness doctrine? We want you to succeed. If you don’t have someone telling you how many to get, nobody will try to get any referrals. If you don’t know how to get referrals, you shouldn’t be a JV Partner. I select JV partners for future product launches of my clients from the top referrers of PCG, because if you can’t get people to sign up for free stuff, you probably will not be able to sell anything to them, either!

I have many new joint ventures coming up from some new clients, and they are going to have great products. I want only my top partners to get access to these products for FREE so they can review them before promoting them to their lists.

Who wants to be a REAL JV partner?

I just realized that I have sent emails to JV partners on a regular basis, and only 10% of them are trying to market things that I recommend.

What does that tell me?

One of five possibilities…

  1. They don’t like me… This could be a depressing area for me to tread.
  2. They don’t read my emails.
  3. They don’t know how to be a JV partner.
  4. They don’t have a list.
  5. The offers are not targeted to their list.

A large number of Super Affiliates  are becoming wary of promoting anything but the products that their best friends are putting out, because they want to stay part of the “good ole boy” network, and frankly, they aren’t good to have as JV partners anyway, because they are too demanding.  They want you to do all the work and then they send out the email and your conversion had better be really good or they won’t do anything for you anymore.

I once roamed among that group and found myself disliking an awful lot of the snob atmosphere.  When people can’t answer a simple email, they are too big.  Send Ken McArthur an email sometime.  You will get a response, whether he is busy with a thousand things going on or not, he will answer your email, because he is a genuine, caring person.  Now he is particular about the products he will promote, which I do not blame him one bit for, because once you have the quantities of people that Ken has on his list, you don’t want to feed them a bunch of crap.

But some marketers have made huge successes out of selling $3 products and they are afraid to answer their emails.  They know that they will get hundreds of emails from customers complaining about the junk being served to them.  Again, it is easy to understand why you wouldn’t want to have to answer all those emails.

Last year, I was studying under Matthew Glanfield (who does answer his emails, but has also moved the majority of his support to a help desk system to give him more time to devote to his family and friends) and I learned some methods of getting JV partners that involved communicating directly with marketers.  I found that most marketers are busy (especially those who are successful, clearly because they are taking action), but they usually responded to my emails.  Some told me up front that they had no time to work with me.  Others were more amenable and we developed some good partnerships.

I remember one guy, a rather famous “Joint Venture Specialist” who even had a website devoted to joint venture announcements.  Well at first he seemed to be friendly and said we could work together, and I was rather excited - enough to start writing emails and other affiliate tools for him to use in his autoresponder series.  But since I was using the ideas that I had learned in the coaching program with Matthew Glanfield, other people from the program were also contacting this fellow, too, and suddenly he stopped communicating with me completely.  I emailed him to find out what was up and he sent me a very abrupt email stating that he was not going to work with me or my “friends” now or in the future!

Now I want to help my JV brokerage clients succeed, but I also don’t plan on enlisting the “good ole boy” network of Super Affiliates who don’t want to be bothered with anyone who hasn’t raced their yacht with them…

So my plan is to help potential JV partners become super affiliates in their own right.  And I want to help them by providing an area where they can tell others about their product without worrying about rejection.  I will also help train potential JV partners with the things I have learned from Matthew Glanfield, Ken McArthur, Gina Gaudio-Graves, Stephanie Mulac and Ross Goldberg.

So I am opening up the floor for comments.  Do you want to learn to become a JV partner that product owners would be excited to have on their team?  Are you interested in promoting products that fit with your lists, if I can get you the information in a timely manner?  Do you want to be able to tell if someone keeps their word about promoting before you give them a copy of your product that they might have purchased if they hadn’t been on your JV list?
